The nationwide event returns on September 27, bringing together communities and local talent, igniting the power of live performance.

For one night only, stages across 11 Canadian cities will ignite with the sounds of homegrown talent as Music Day returns for its second edition. The event is a nationwide celebration designed to spotlight local musicians while uniting communities through the power of live music.

“At its core, Music Day in Canada is about connection,” said Michael Scriven, Co-Founder of The Lemmon Foundation, the non-profit organization that produces the event. 

Scriven says the ambitious national event is a chance to “share stories, celebrate creativity, and showcase the incredible talent that defines Canadian music, while giving artists across the country the opportunity to shine.”

It’s an endeavour that will have high impact on the music scene across the country. The Music Day concert series will also help the producers achieve their goal to shine a spotlight on artists, strengthen Canada’s live music scene, and ensure that communities from coast to coast have access to vibrant, high-quality music experiences.
