Bryan Adams to headline historic FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert in Toronto

Featuring Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream, AHI, and Wyclef Jean

Toronto is about to take centre stage in one of the most ambitious music-and-sport celebrations ever staged.

The City of Toronto announced today that Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams will headline the Toronto portion of FIFA’s unprecedented three-city live concert event marking the countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026.

City officials revealed that the British Columbia-born superstar will lead Toronto’s segment of a 90-minute concert spectacular that will be linked in real time with simultaneous performances in Mexico City and Los Angeles on June 10. The event is designed to unite the three FIFA host cities through two global passions: music and football.

For Toronto, the lineup delivers a powerful blend of international star power and homegrown talent. Joining Adams are Nora Fatehi featuring Sanjoy and Vegedream, along with acclaimed Canadian artist AHI and Grammy-winning global music figure Wyclef Jean.

The concert represents a rare cultural trifecta, with three major North American cities connecting through a synchronized live production as anticipation builds for the largest FIFA World Cup in history. For Toronto, which will host six FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, the event offers a preview of the global spotlight set to shine on the city in June and July.

Few artists are better suited to the moment than Adams. With decades of chart-topping hits, sold-out international tours, and a reputation as one of Canada’s most enduring rock ambassadors, his appearance gives the Toronto celebration a distinctly Canadian feel while reinforcing the event’s global reach.

The FIFA World Cup Countdown Concert takes place on June 10 at 7 p.m. at the Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway, across from Exhibition Grounds. Fort York and The Bentway will also serve as the site of FIFA Fan Festival, which kicks off the following day. Tickets start at $36. According to Ticketmaster, concertgoers will experience a mix of live and broadcast performances in each city.

The Toronto-Mexico City-Los Angeles concert event is a symbolic passing of the ball between the three host nations, bringing together millions of fans through a shared language of music, culture, and the world’s most popular sport.
