The documentary about Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis originally premiered on Circle Network as a concert special in 2011 to honour the 25th anniversary of Travis’ album Storms of Life. After a near-fatal illness, the special moved beyond just a concert film to the telling of the story of the artist’s life and recovery.

‘Good To Be Bad: 45 Years Of Rock Tour’

One of my favourite memories of sitting on a hillside listening to music outdoors is of George Thorogood & The Destroyers in the late 80s and possibly 1990 as well. I’m pretty sure I saw them at least twice at Mariposa in Barrie, Ontario. It was expectedly Ba-ba-ba-ba-baad, Bad to the Bone.

It started with 1,500 people who were mostly strangers, now each year 20,000 of them come together as a community in Las Vegas, Nevada, to hand jive, lindy hop, twist and stroll, dress in decades old vintage fashion, sit poolside at the tiki bar in pin-up style bathing suits à la Jane Russell, Bettie Paige, Eartha Kitt or Jayne Mansfield.

Rush singer Geddy Lee plays Tom Sawyer on Murdoch Mysteries

Geddy Lee, lead singer of the progressive rock band Rush, said yes to Yannick Bisson when the Murdoch Mysteries star asked him to come by the set and hang out sometime. Somehow, Lee ended up making a guest appearance on the show.
